Tom Wilson and Brett Connolly attend Grace Vanderwaal concert.

Tom Wilson and Brett Connolly of the Washington Capitals went downtown to see a special concert at the 9:30 Club after participating in a charity event at TopGolf on Wednesday afternoon.

The two hockey players were treated like VIPs when 14-year-old musician Grace VanderWaal, the 2016 winner of America's Got Talent, performed a stop on her Just Beginning tour.

The two actors, together with their significant others Katrina Connolly and Taylor Pischke, met Grace backstage after watching the show from the balcony.

“Big fans. Grace killed it tonight,” Wilson wrote on Instagram. Tom may have also donated one of his jerseys to Grace.

Grace is still wearing the huge Caps sweatshirt in an adorable Instagram post in which she meets two more of her favorite fans.

VanderWaal rose to national prominence after winning the golden buzzer on America's Got Talent after an incredible performance. Howie Mandell gave the exceptional singer from New York state a free ticket to the finals after she sang an original song, I Don't Know My Name, on her ukulele.

She was 12 years old at the time. On YouTube, the video has received over 78 million views. She might be a Caps fan now. Please share this information using the social media buttons provided below.
